Wood floor refinishing service — Urban Honolulu, HI

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

The final amount for your new floors depends on a few specific things. First, it comes down to the material you choose, whether that is hardwood, luxury vinyl, or carpet. The size of the area being covered and how much prep work the subfloor needs will also play a role. If your rooms have complex layouts or lots of corners, that often adds labor time. Every home is unique, so we help you get an exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

This service is specifically for homeowners who want to refresh their existing hardwood without tearing it out. We assess the thickness of your boards to ensure they can handle sanding, then remove the old finish, repair deep gouges, and apply a new protective layer. It is the best way to change the color of your floors or simply hide years of traffic. If your floors are structurally sound but look worn out, this is the right service for you.
